Originally from Las Vegas, Stephen started working in the financial services industry as a junior in high school working as bank teller. Stephen moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to attend Loyola Marymount University, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in accounting and received the Accounting Faculty Excellence in Accounting Award. He pursued a career in public accounting, where he earned his CPA license. 

Stephen joined Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor in 2013 and relocated to Whitefish, Montana. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER in 2017, and relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2018, and subsequently joined Ameriprise in 2023 as a financial advisor and founding member of Trigon Family Wealth.  

Stephen has earned multiple accolades during his time in the wealth management industry, including spots as a Forbes Top Next Gen Advisor in the State (2022, 2023, 2025), Forbes Best in State Wealth Advisor (2023, 2025), and Financial Planning’s Top 40 Regional Advisors under 40 (2025). 

In his spare time, he likes to play music, write poetry, and cook. Stephen enjoys attending concerts, live sporting events, and traveling, and resides in Denver with his wife Kristen and Golden-doodle “Summer”.
