As Chief Executive Officer of Continental, Jim is responsible for guiding the company’s strategic vision and fostering collaboration across all roles and functions of the organization. Central to his leadership philosophy is building a “company of leaders,” where individuals at every level are encouraged to think critically, speak openly, and take ownership of decisions. He is deeply committed to creating environments where people feel valued, supported, and equipped to succeed.
In addition to his work at Continental, Jim serves as Chair of the National Multifamily Housing Council, reflecting his long-standing engagement with complex societal challenges that sit at the intersection of people, policy, and place.
Jim brings to the Human Wildlife Coexistence Initiative a vital human centered perspective. He understands that meaningful wildlife protection depends on people, communities, livelihoods, leadership, and ethical decision-making. His experience navigating competing needs, building consensus, and leading responsibly strengthens the organization’s ability to develop realistic, compassionate solutions that work for both people and the natural world.
